Pricing

Freezer beef is priced according to hanging weight. Our typical 1200lb Angus steer will yield approximately 600lbs of retail cuts from a hung-weight of 800lbs. Beef is available in the following sizes:

Whole Beef:	approx. 700- 800lbs. hung-weight Cost: $3.00 per lb
Half Beef:	approx. 350 - 400lbs. hung-weight Cost: $3.25 per lb
Front quarter:	primarily less expensive cuts: hamburger, stew beef, and rib-roasts Cost: $2.80 per lb
Hind quarter:	primarily more expensive cuts: steaks and premium roasts Cost: $3.40 per lb
Mixed quarter:	a combination of front and hind quarter cuts Cost: $3.30 per lb
40 lb freezer box:	A 40lb. box of beef: consists of approx. 12-13lbs of roasts, 12-13lbs of steak, 12lbs ground beef, and 4lbs of stewing meat. Cost: $220 per box
20 lb freezer box:	Consists of approx. 6 lbs of roasts (oven roasting and pot roasting), 6 lbs of steak (marinating and grilling), 6 lbs ground beef, and 2 lbs of stewing meat. Cost: $110 per box Save $40
20 lb VALUE box:	Consists of approx. 6 lbs of pot roasts, 6 lbs of marinating steak, 6 lbs ground beef, and 2 lbs of stewing meat. Cost: $90 per box Save $48

Ordering

Through the winter, we make scheduled deliveries into the GTA. When you place your order we will let you know our next delivery date. We can also arrange for you to pick up your order in Lindsay.
